There’s just something about summer at Company 421 that feels extra special.
The longer evenings, the natural light pouring into the space, fresh florals everywhere, and a calendar full of celebrations — it’s the season where the venue feels the most alive.
As a family-run venue, summer also means our kids are around a little more often helping with the little things behind the scenes. Whether it’s straightening chairs, helping carry in décor items, watering flowers outside, or proudly “checking” the dessert table setup, they love feeling like part of the magic that happens here.
And honestly, watching them experience the venue through their eyes has become one of our favorite parts of this season.
A Space Designed to Feel Warm + Welcoming
When we created Company 421, our goal was always to make it feel different from a traditional event venue.
We wanted people to walk in and instantly feel comfortable — like they were hosting in a beautiful extension of home instead of a large, overwhelming space. That welcoming atmosphere is something that matters deeply to our family, and it’s woven into everything we do here.
Summer especially brings that vision to life.
The doors are constantly opening for bridal showers, intimate weddings, rehearsal dinners, baby showers, graduation parties, and community gatherings. Every weekend looks a little different, and we love getting to see the venue transformed in new ways for each celebration.
Watching the Venue Come to Life
One of the things we never get tired of is seeing the space go from an empty room in the morning to a completely personalized event by the afternoon.
The candles lit.
Tables set.
Music playing.
Guests arriving.
People celebrating some of the biggest moments of their lives.
Even our kids get excited seeing each setup come together. They love peeking in before guests arrive and seeing how each family or couple made the space their own.
It’s such a good reminder that while we provide the space, it’s the people and memories inside it that truly make Company 421 special.

Summer events at Company 421 tend to have a different kind of energy — relaxed, joyful, and intentional.
