There’s something about fall and winter that naturally brings people together.
Cooler evenings, holiday traditions, cozy gatherings, nights out with friends, and a little more reason to slow down and make plans with the people we love.
That feeling is exactly what inspired The Gatherings at Company 421 — a series of events created to give our community more opportunities to connect, celebrate, and enjoy something a little different right here in downtown Mahomet.
We have several special events planned for the months ahead, and we’d love to have you join us.
Friday, October 9 | Doors Open at 6 PM
We’re kicking off our fall Gatherings with a fun night out in partnership with Kayla’s Chic Treats.
Guests will enjoy four trifle tastings paired with four cocktails or mocktails, all served in the intimate setting of Company 421.
It’s the perfect excuse for a date night, girls’ night, or simply an evening to try something new.
Tickets are $45 per person, and space is intentionally limited.
The final day to purchase tickets is October 2.
Market Swap
Wednesday, October 21 | Doors Open at 6:30 PM
Our Market Swap is all about sharing something you love and going home with something new.
Each guest will bring multiples of one homemade, handmade, baked, grown, or crafted item to add to the swap.
Think baked goods, fresh bread, jams, handmade crafts, garden goods, homemade treats, or another favorite creation.
Admission is $10 per person, and the market will officially begin at 7 PM.
We love the idea of bringing people together around creativity, community, and a table full of things made and shared by our guests.
Friday, November 6 | 5:30–8:30 PM
This fall also brings a milestone that means a lot to our family.
Company 421 is turning five years old.
Over the last five years, this space has been filled with weddings, showers, birthday parties, business events, community gatherings, family celebrations, and so many meaningful moments.
We’re celebrating with an evening of live music, seasonal cocktails, lite bites, and plenty of time to gather together.
Most of all, we want this night to be a thank-you to the community that has supported Company 421 from the very beginning.
We hope you’ll save the date and celebrate with us.
Christmas Pop-Up at Company 421
Friday, December 4 | 5–8 PM
Then we’ll officially welcome the holiday season with our Christmas Pop-Up during downtown Mahomet’s holiday festivities.
Stop in, shop local, discover a few new small businesses, and enjoy a festive evening downtown.
We’re also currently accepting vendor applications for this event.
If you’re a local maker, baker, boutique, artist, or small business owner who would be a great fit, we’d love to hear from you.
Vendor spaces are $50 and availability is limited.
Planning a Fall or Winter Gathering of Your Own?

Fall and winter are also some of our favorite seasons for private celebrations at Company 421.
Whether you’re planning a holiday party, company gathering, shower, birthday, rehearsal dinner, intimate wedding, family celebration, workshop, or end-of-year event, our space was designed for gatherings that feel personal and welcoming.
Company 421 can accommodate up to 60 seated guests or approximately 80 guests for a cocktail-style event, making it a great fit when you want something more intimate than a large venue without having to host everyone at home.

As we move into this next season at Company 421, one thing we keep coming back to is how much we love seeing people gather here.
Sometimes that looks like a wedding.
Sometimes it’s a holiday party.
And sometimes it’s simply getting a group of friends together on a Friday night for something fun.
